Today our first house went up for sale. I have some mixed emotions about this event. This is the home Brendan and I bought when we were 5 months pregnant and planning for the arrival of our baby boy. This is the house we brought Jackson home to from the hospital, the house where we have celebrated anniversaries, birthdays, Jackson's first Christmas..the list goes on and on.Now don't get me wrong..I knew we wouldn't live here forever. I can't wait to find a larger, newer, nicer home in the McKinney area. It's just a little sad to be closing this chapter and starting a new one.
Brendan has been working so hard on updating both bathrooms and I've spent the last 3 weeks cleaning and packing and re-cleaning and staging, and re-re-cleaning. And last night, our realtor came over and took the photos for the MLS website. We signed all the paperwork. It's a done deal (well, not really..still need to sell the place). So, in honor of our "First Place" I'm gonna post some of the pics our realtor sent..
very nice! I know how it feels to sell your first home! ;-) I had a lot of mixed feelings when we did too and I hadn't even had kids yet! however, it took 2 years for us to sell (long story), which hopefully won't happen to you all! ;-) By the end of the 2 years, I didn't care anymore! ha!
